1998 Ferrari 355F1 Spider

This Rosso Corsa 355F1 Spider has been consigned with us to make room for an MP4-12C in the seller's garage. It features the factory optional rear challenge grille and fender shields. The 30k mile service was completed in 2011 at 19300 miles by Fast Cars LTD in Redondo Beach, Ca. In addition to the timing belt service, the F1 clutch, catalytic converters, accesory belt and tensioners were replaced, and the alternator was rebuilt. A heat shield was fabricated to protect it from high underhood temperatures. The crack prone original exhaust manifolds were also replaced with headers that have been treated inside and out with a high temperature coating. A full set fo books, keys, tools, two top covers and fitted car cover are included.
 
The 1998-99 F355 is more desirable than the 1995-97 model partly because it features factory uprated valve guides and is immune to the oil consumption and related issues that affect early cars. This Spider is fully sorted. We have tried to show in photgraphs the typical cosmetic flaws you will more often than not find on 355's that are driven; There is a small rock chip on the hood that has been touched up. There is a rip in the soft top (the top does function). The leather around the passenger airbag cover, center vents and behind the gauges is beginning to shrink. The interior plastics, however are not sticky.
