1969 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL
1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SL. Beige-Grey with Brown Interior and a Brown Soft Top.
The 280SL is considered the most desirable of the SL series (SL standing for Sport Light). It has a 2778 cc 6-cylinder fuel-injected engine developing 170 horsepower with a top speed of 120 mph. The convertibles were nicknamed 'Pagoda' with a reference to the shape of the hardtop roof. Reminiscent of the shape of a Japanese style Pagoda, the roof center is slightly lower than the side.
This is an original Black plate two owner Northern California Car. This vehicle is equipped with power steering, automatic transmission and was built without a hard top. All books are present. The current owner installed a new soft top, new rubber moldings, and a new $1,000 radio that was installed in the truck to preserve the authentic look of the interior . Cars Dawydiak installed a new exhaust system and serviced the rear brakes with new calipers and pads.
